A Creative Way, Flowertown: Advanced Immersive Watercolor Retreat Deposit
Join us October 17-20. 2024 for an immersive watercolor retreat where we will go beyond the basics and delve deeper in to our craft together. Sarah will lead the group with experimenting with techniques, new project prompts, sketching, supplies and developing your artistic style and practice. Designed for seasoned artists seeking to elevate their skills, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the art of watercolor with a group of like-minded creatives.
This retreat will take place in Sarah's beautiful home in Summerville, South Carolina and the surrounding area. Summerville, also known as Flowertown, is a captivating corner of the world full of ambience and inspiring imagery. October is a beautiful month to explore some incredible parks and wildlife, practice our urban sketching and painting in open air. There will be watercolor excursions as well as concentrated watercolor sessions at the house. Exact schedule is in development - there is a lot to choose from!
Spending this dedicated time with other artists is invaluable and that is a large part of this experience as well. The opportunity to share knowledge, exchange insights, witness varying styles and offer/receive encouragement is one important way to improve. We are so excited for these few days and hope you join us!
